K-Life Galentines Event in Bolivar MO

We got to photograph the K-Life Galentine’s event last week and I’m still smiling about it.

First of all, Valentine’s Day is fine… but it’s not nearly as cool as a room full of girls hyping each other up, taking pics together, and having the most fun with it. Like, sorry, but Galentine’s wins.

They came READY too. There were heart props everywhere, the cutest signs, and all the little details that make a shoot feel like a whole vibe. The kind of setup where you don’t even have to “make it look fun” because it already is. You just point the camera and it’s instant magic.

My favorite part of shoots like this is watching people loosen up. At first it’s the classic “what do I do with my hands” moment, and then two minutes later they’re posing like models, cracking up, and pulling their friends into the frame. The best photos always come from that middle part, when everyone forgets about the camera and just has fun.

Honestly, if you’ve never done a Galentine’s event like this, let this be your sign. Romance is cute, but friendship like this is something else.
