K-Life Galentines Event in Bolivar MO

We got to photograph the K-Life Galentine's event last week and I'm still smiling about it.

Valentine's Day is fine, but it's not nearly as cool as a room full of girls hyping each other up, taking photos together, and having the most fun with it. Galentine's wins every time.

They came ready too. Heart props everywhere, the cutest signs, all the little details that make a shoot feel like a whole vibe. The kind of setup where you don't have to manufacture fun because it's already happening. You just point the camera and it works.

My favorite part of shoots like this is watching people loosen up. At first it's the classic "what do I do with my hands" moment, and then two minutes later they're posing, cracking up, and pulling their friends into the frame. The best photos always come from that middle part, when everyone forgets about the camera and just has fun.

That's what made this K-Life event so special to shoot. These girls genuinely love each other, and that came through in every single frame. You can't fake that kind of energy, and you really don't have to when it's already in the room.
