Cora and Ethan | Wedding in Bolivar MO
Cora and Ethan got married on a warm evening out in the country near Bolivar. A field, their people, and a lot of wildflowers. They said their vows under a big tree, white folding chairs set out in the grass with their friends and family gathered around them.
Later in the evening, we walked the two of them out into the field while the light was still going. Cora's beaded dress caught the last of the sun and they danced and held each other close. She kept looking over at Ethan and laughing.
Golden hour out here in the summer runs long, and that is the best part of shooting a wedding in the 417. You get room to wander, try a few things, and let the couple be in it together.
Their day was full of the small stuff that makes a wedding feel nostalgic. Handwritten notes. The mismatched dresses. The wildflowers. The flower crown. A barn and an open field.
Two people in love bringing everyone together.
