The thing about Happyologie is finding happy in your everyday.

So when it came time to shoot content for their reading collection, we wanted the photos to actually feel like that. Like someone who genuinely loves books — and we knew exactly who to ask.

Lily is in college and an avid reader and brought over 100 books to this photoshoot. Elizabeth also modeled for this shoot and made it so fun.

We built out two setups: a cozy reading nook with soft window light, beautiful hardcovers, iced coffee, and snacks. Because you need snacks.

Then a second setup featuring towering book stacks, a floral mug packed with colorful markers, and all the chaotic joyful energy of someone whose TBR pile is completely out of control. I love the artistry feel to this brand session mixed with college vibes.

Brand shoots work best when the subject genuinely lives the story you're trying to tell. Lily brought 100 books. That's not a prop — that's a personality. And that's exactly the kind of authenticity that makes brand content actually land.
