Social Media Photoshoot for Happyologie’s Study with Friends

Firm believer that studying is always, always better with friends. Whether you put on headphones or tackle it together, it's nice to have some company. Or body doubling. Whatever you want to call it, we are in.

This photoshoot for Happyologie will support their upcoming content calendar and website buildout.

Body doubling is genuinely one of those productivity concepts that sounds too simple to work until you try it and suddenly you understand why every coffee shop in the country is full of people with laptops. There's something about being around other people who are also working that makes it easier to stay focused. Happyologie gets that, and this shoot was built to show that study-with-friends energy in a way that actually looks like how students live — not a stock photo version of it.

For this shoot we set up a shared study environment with multiple subjects, layered props that looked used and loved, and lighting that felt warm and focused rather than bright and commercial. The goal was to make every frame feel like somewhere you'd actually want to be on a Sunday afternoon with your favorite people and a big to-do list.

What makes Happyologie content fun to shoot is how clearly they understand their audience. They're inspiring students to an everyday life that feels a little more intentional and a little more joyful. The photography supports that by making the mundane look like something worth looking forward to.

Study sessions, reading corners, color-coded planners, coffee and highlighters and notebooks that are actually full of writing. It's the details that make brand content land, and getting those details right is something we think about carefully on every Happyologie shoot.

This gallery will feed their social calendar and website for the next stretch of content and we're really happy with how it came together. Lily and Elizabeth showed up ready and made every setup feel effortless.
