Baby Rachel’s 6 Month Session

Baby Rachel is almost 6 months and we had to celebrate with a studio session!

Her whole family is so sweet and her mom and sister came to make sure she was doted on the whole time. They even FaceTimed dad in!

That detail says everything. A whole family rallying around one tiny person for thirty minutes in a studio — that's what these sessions are really about. The photos are beautiful but the memory of everyone being there together is the thing that lasts.

Getting to capture these sweet milestones is really nostalgic because I remember my kids being this little but it goes so fast. Having photos like this — and a keepsake film — make it so easy to revisit this wonderful season.

Six months is such a good milestone to document. Babies at this age have so much personality coming through and they're still small enough that you forget how small they actually were. A year from now Rachel's family will look back at these and not quite believe it.
