Snow Day Photos: Stephens Boys

What is it about a band of brothers running across the snow together that makes you feel like you're witnessing greatness? Haha!

These four brothers braved the snow in their bright coats for some candids on their snow day. I love that Jordan and Katlyn wanted to have these memories and I loved getting to photograph their boys at these ages.

Snow day sessions are a small window. The light is right, the kids are already outside, the world looks completely different than it did yesterday. Jordan and Katlyn saw that window and went for it, and these photos are exactly why that instinct is worth following. Four boys in bright coats running through the snow is the kind of thing you want documented.

Candid family sessions like this one are some of my favorites because nobody is performing. The boys weren't thinking about the camera — they were just being brothers on a snow day which made this over-the-top fun!
