Happy Spring with Hannah Painter

With springtime finally here, I was so excited to be able to capture the joy that comes with this season of new beginnings and growth.

Hannah did a perfect job of showing that essence of happiness! I used some flower bouquets that Jordan made herself, and set up our new yellow backdrop to help bring out those colors. We also went outside for some photos and took advantage of the sunlight as it was just starting to set. We both had so much fun chatting about her family (her husband is my coach, haha!), our upcoming plans for Spring and anything else!

I absolutely love how this whole photoshoot turned out and that I was able to photograph that true happiness of Spring through Hannah!

The mix of studio and outdoor in a single session is something we don't always get to do, and it works so well when the timing lines up. The yellow backdrop gave us these warm, bright images inside, and then stepping out into that golden hour light added a completely different feel. Two looks, one session.

Spring is genuinely one of the best times of year to book a portrait session in the 417 area. The light is softer, the colors are coming back, and there's this natural energy that people bring into a session that you just can't manufacture in January. Hannah had all of it.
