Spring Mini with Ivy
Picture this: you get to pick out your favorite dress, it's 80 degrees out, and you get to spend some time at the studio with buckets of flowers while having your little one's photos taken.
Sweet Ivy was the first to try out our new spring mini set and we could not be more obsessed with the flower cart happy vibes. We started with a big twirl in her favorite dress and she warmed right up to the camera.
The shots I loved the most weren't the typical ultra-posed photos — it was capturing the squinty smiles, mischievous looks over at mom, and the full body laughs when I gave silly directions (no front teeth required 😆)
That's the thing about photographing kids at this age. The posed moments are cute but the in-between ones are the keepers. The look she shot toward mom right before bursting out laughing. The twirl that went a little too fast. Ivy gave us all of it and the gallery is better for it.
Spring minis are such a good fit for little ones because they move fast, stay fun, and deliver a full gallery without asking a toddler to hold still for an hour. The flower cart setup does a lot of the heavy lifting — kids just naturally want to interact with it — and that's where the best photos happen.
